Description

Math exit tickets for 5th grade are an easy way for formative assessments and for students to show what they know! There are 3 different versions included with the same problems on each version so choose the version that works best for you!

3 Versions:

  • student paper slips (2 to a page with room to show work, answer key included)
  • classroom Google slides (project for students to solve on scratch paper or to review the answers as a whole class)
  • Google Forms (digitally assign and auto-grade for faster data use, answers are preloaded into the forms)

These are aligned to the Common Core State Standards for 5th Grade Math. Most exit tickets include between 2-4 problems per lesson.

Convert among different-sized standard measurement units within a given measurement system (e.g., convert 5 cm to 0.05 m), and use these conversions in solving multi-step, real world problems.
Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Use operations on fractions for this grade to solve problems involving information presented in line plots. For example, given different measurements of liquid in identical beakers, find the amount of liquid each beaker would contain if the total amount in all the beakers were redistributed equally.
