Description
Are you looking to help your students improve their math fact fluency in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division? I created this to do just that and I definitely saw results-hope you do too!
In my class, students will complete a column of math facts in one of two ways- with a timer set to a minute as a countdown or they start the clock and see how long it takes to complete the column. Are they able to beat their time from the day before?
Enclosed are:
30 Addition/Subtraction Math Sheets
17 Multiplication Math Sheets
20 Division Math Sheets
Each math sheet has 4 columns of math facts that are scaffolded. They easier sheets are at the beginning and the more challenging ones are towards the end. Certain sheets concentrate on specific skills or numbers (ex. working on a specific times tables for each column or doubles in addition).
Feel free to use them however you want.
Math Fact Fluency is available in addition and subtraction, multiplication and division.
Check it out below:
Math Fact Fluency Addition/Subtraction
Math Fact Fluency Multiplication
There are two sets of sheets- one with the days of the week at the top or you can use the ones labeled Column 1, 2, 3, and 4 . You can also use them as follows:
At-Home Practice- children start a timer, complete all the problems, write down the time needed to complete the problems. Children complete a column each night M-Th.
Whole Group Practice- Set the timer for a minute (or any given time frame) and see how many problems the child can complete.
Center Activity- Each day students use a timer to see how long it takes to complete a column.
Challenge Activity- for younger students who excel at math.
