Description

Addition and subtraction facts are a universal challenge for the students I tutor. The dodecahedron math facts model has been one of their favorite "help" tools.

It is simple to fold and assemble. However, if you get stuck, please email me, and I will help. There are also some good YouTube videos showing how to assemble the pieces.

You can use it as a simple reference tool or have your kids make up games with it. Their imaginations are great when presented with a new "toy."

By using tools like this and others (such as multiplication charts), students reinforce concepts through visual pathways.

Practice doesn't make perfect - Perfect Practice does. Tools and visual aids reinforce the correct answers rather than incorrect guesses. In addition, repetition in reading further strengthens a child's memory of mathematical rules.
