Description
File Folder Activities are a great way to reinforce concepts learned. After assembling, laminate the file folder and pieces so students can use them over and over again.
For one activity, students will measure the height of different tools. For another activity, they will measure the length of different insects.
Includes:
- two versions; with and without measuring lines
- recording sheets for students to record how the length and height of the different tools and insects
- printable stacking cubes and rulers
When printing this activity, select Actual Size under Page Sizing and Handling to ensure the pictures are exact measurements. Otherwise, the sizes will be slightly larger. For instance, the hammer will be 4.25” instead of exactly 4” and the shovel will be 8.5” instead of exactly 8”.

Please note, you do not need to make these products into file folder activities. You can laminate the pages and use them as work mats. Whether used as a file folder activity or a work mat, these products work best when they are laminated and Velcro is used for students to secure the pieces.
