File Folder Activities are a great way to reinforce concepts learned. After assembling, laminate the file folder and pieces so students can use them over and over again.

For this activity, students will match subtraction sentences to the picture. For instance, if the picture shows 8 ladybugs total, and 5 ladybugs are leaving while 3 ladybugs are staying, they will place the subtraction sentence 8 - 5 = 3 next to the picture.

Please note, you do not need to make these products into file folder activities. You can laminate the pages and use them as work mats. Whether used as a file folder activity or a work mat, these products work best when they are laminated and Velcro is used for students to secure the pieces.
