These printable 1st, 2nd, & 3rd grade math flashcards for addition & subtraction have mixed addition & subtraction within 10 facts (plus facts 11 & 12!). The addition & subtraction flashcards with answers on the back are self checking so students can use them independently or with partners! Use these for math fact fluency intervention & general practice. The addition & subtraction math flash cards will boost your students' confidence in math!

What makes these subtraction and addition facts to 10 flashcards unique, and what is included?

• The flash cards measure 2.5" x 3" each and print 9 per page. There will be some extra blank flash cards with each math fact, for creating extras if you wish!

• You'll get 169 addition flash cards with answers on the back, for practicing math fact fluency! You'll also get a set of 169 subtraction flash cards. The math flash cards for addition and subtraction each include facts 0-12.

• The math flashcards are self-checking with the answers on the back so that your students can work independently, or even with partners!

• Just print the pages double-sided in your printer setting and you're good to go!

• There will be 4 total pages dedicated to EACH math fact, but only 2 pages are needed since you'll print them double-sided. If you DON'T want answers on the back, print only the odd page numbers.

• I suggest printing the math flash cards on thicker colored paper, or fun colored card stock to entice your students! It's much more engaging for some students to work with pops of color!

• The answers will print in GRAY ink. This is so that if you choose to print on regular white paper, the answers won't bleed/show through from the front side of the flash cards. (Please click on the product PREVIEW for a peek of what this looks like!) The gray ink shows up on every color of paper that you see in the pictures in my PREVIEW, even the darker colors. :)

Ideas for ways to use the printable addition & subtraction flash cards:

• Print each math fact set on a different color, cut the math flash cards out and put them on binder rings. Example: Students can practice mastering all of the -0 facts before moving to another, or you can have them practice any number in any order you wish!

• Terrific for beginning of the year math review

• Great for studying math facts independently since they are self-checking

• Use for math fact fluency intervention

• Have students work in pairs and quiz each other

• Use as a mad math minute addition & subtraction activity
