Description
I would like the child to learn how to decide what the numerator is. I have single sheets of papers with the denominator written on them. The denominator is the bottom number of the fraction. I then made fraction rectangle that can be cut up and placed on the pieces of the circles. As you can see I don’t have any numerators for the fractions. The adult will be able to decide what the numerator will be and write the numerator above the denominator. The student then will put the proper numbers of pieces on the rectangle to represent that fraction.
