Description
This resource can be used in a number of different ways. Originally, this activity was created to teach understanding of decimals and fractions to the hundredths place. Students create abstract art from a 100s grid and show their colors mathematically using fractions and decimals. From there, students can solve equations using variables, or create their own equations.
Also included are 24 colored grid cards for use as a center activity during guided math. This resource set is easily differentiated for various levels of understanding and need in the classroom.
