Support your visual learners by supplementing your Algebra 1 guided notes with these math graphic organizers. They are perfect for creating reference sheets that your students can use throughout the year!


Each resource includes two versions. There is an open-ended version that students can fill in themselves and a filled in version with example problems. Answer keys and teacher directions are also included to help you scaffold and differentiate your lessons.


Ways to use these graphic organizers:

✨ Guided notes - Use a graphic organizer as part of your guided notes to help your students keep important information all in one place. This is a great way to help your students create reference pages to use throughout the unit.

✨ Review or reinforcement - Your students probably don't retain all of the information that is thrown at them during an introductory lesson. Use this graphic organizer to do a quick review of the initial lesson.

Solve linear equations in one variable.
Give examples of linear equations in one variable with one solution, infinitely many solutions, or no solutions. Show which of these possibilities is the case by successively transforming the given equation into simpler forms, until an equivalent equation of the form 𝘹 = 𝘒, 𝘒 = 𝘒, or 𝘒 = 𝘣 results (where 𝘒 and 𝘣 are different numbers).
Solve systems of two linear equations in two variables algebraically, and estimate solutions by graphing the equations. Solve simple cases by inspection. For example, 3𝘹 + 2𝘺 = 5 and 3𝘹 + 2𝘺 = 6 have no solution because 3𝘹 + 2𝘺 cannot simultaneously be 5 and 6.
