I really like this resource even though I have not used it yet. I'm hoping to be able to incorporate more math history into my lesson plans in the future, so I'm holding onto it.
There are 18 lessons, each one including a teaching section followed by thought provoking discussion questions. There is a given list of web sources, one for each lesson, that can be assigned to the students for further research as well as a place for them to record an additional web site that they discover.
I think I will use these in the future to provide additional activities for students who have completed work or are ahead. These would also be great to include in emergency substitute plans as they can be done at any time in the year without worry about whether the material was already covered.
This is a great resource to introduce various math topics
Thank you for providing such interesting curriculum.
