Description

Do your students sometimes have difficulty identifying their teen numbers and counting to 11-20 accurately?

Every year I have a few students who need extra help with these tricky numbers. I designed this intervention unit as a fun, encouraging way for those students to be able to identify their teen numbers and count to 20 quickly.

This Intervention Unit includes:

*Activities where students can manipulate number cards and ten-frame cards to put them in order forwards or backwards. They can also match 10-frames to numbers.

*2 fun centers matching numbers to a quantity and putting cute cars numbered 1-20 in order

*BINGO cards for numbers 10-20

*Practice pages for extra practice writing and naming these numbers. As they trace or write the numbers in small groups or individually with a helper, I encourage them to say them aloud.

*Flashcards for whole class/small group review & to send home to parents

*Assessments- a pretest and posttest for writing numbers up to 20
