Description

Do you wish that you had time at the start of the new school year, to sit one-on-one with every student and learn their strengths and struggles? In this back to school, get to know you questionnaire, students are asking questions to their classmates to learn more about their strengths and struggles in the world of math. This is a great tool for teachers to help differentiation lessons based on students' abilities as well as discovering ways to incorporate different learning styles.

This activity will help to build classroom culture and allow students to feel more comfortable about making mistakes. They will learn through this exercise that all students learn differently. Also, students will discover that their strength might be someone's struggle and they could help that particular peer, fostering a caring environment for all learners.
