I use this assignment as a way to involve families in their children's mathematical education. This project, involves hands on learning experiences that make math relevant and fun! My students love to present their final reports! This cross-curricular project incorporates student choice and is ready to print and send home! I've also enclosed a rubric that makes the expectations clear, and grading easy. The projects can also be used in the classroom as demonstrations or center activities to increase student learning.
