Description

Looking for a fun, engaging way to practice and review 3-digit addition/subtraction and rounding? Well, Jenga is the way to go! Bringing Jenga into the classroom was one of the best things I've ever done. Jenga can be used to review ANY content. It can be used in small groups or with the whole class. I purchased a few of the colored Jenga sets from Amazon and its one of the best investments I've made and definitely a time-saver!

Games are a great way to set the stage to engage in your classroom. Kids will have a blast while they play Jenga without realizing they are reviewing essential skills (win-win!)

This resource includes review questions for the following third and fourth-grade math skills, aligned to the Common Core, TEKS, and Virginia SOL:

-Add and subtract 3-digit numbers within 1,000

-Add and subtract 4-digit numbers within 9,999 (*Virginia SOL)

-Round multi-digit numbers using place value to the nearest ten, hundred, and thousand.

-Solve one and two-step addition and subtraction word problems.

-Compare numbers up to 9,999

-Find the missing number in an addition or subtraction equation (i.e., 674 + ? = 935)

This product includes editable features, templates, and recording sheets.

ANSWER KEY INCLUDED!

EDITABLE FILE!

You can use this resource to allow your students to practice 3-digit addition/subtraction and rounding. It's great for 3rd-4th graders as a way to practice. I've used this as math stations, centers, review, teacher time work, etc...This resource has many uses, and best of all you can edit the content to fit your needs and standards!

Once I was able to find some Jenga game sets reasonably priced, I set this up in teams of students for review. The kids loved playing the game and we were able to stop and review problems that were tricky!
