Description
This is a Math Lab for a hands on approach to applying Triangle Inequality Theorem. To prepare for this Math Lab you would just need to cut several straws or sticks in to 3, 4 and 5 inches long and bundle at least 5 or more of each size per group. Then just follow the instructions on the lab sheet. There are two pages per lab sheet so students can cut right down the middle and give the other to their neighbor. This allows the paper to be small enough to be glued into a composition book or a spiral (math journal) and it wastes less paper which I'm ALL about!!!
