Description

Welcome to my store, KINDLY PASS THE MATH!

Offering a great WORD SEARCH PUZZLE for students that can be used to reinforce their understanding of key terms used in GRAPHING AND WRITING LINEAR EQUATIONS, and providing students with an entertaining and enjoyable opportunity to practice and internalize skills in writing equations in Standard Form and/or Slope-Intercept Form.

* Students are provided with a word bank of 21 key terms in which to do a word-search on a word-search puzzle found on the first quadrant of a Cartesian Plane.

* Students are to locate the key terms on the puzzle.

* Once students have located the key terms on the puzzle, they are instructed to write a linear equation for each according to how the term is placed on the quadrant of the word-search puzzle.

* Students are challenged in locating the terms in the puzzle just enough to make the puzzle fun and rewarding!

* Students enjoy solving the Word Search, and they learn more about writing Linear Equations in Standard Form and Slope-Intercept Form at the same time.

* Great for DISTANCE LEARNING

* NO PREP

* Compatible with EASEL by TpT

Interpret the equation ๐˜บ = ๐˜ฎ๐˜น + ๐˜ฃ as defining a linear function, whose graph is a straight line; give examples of functions that are not linear. For example, the function ๐˜ˆ = ๐‘ ยฒ giving the area of a square as a function of its side length is not linear because its graph contains the points (1,1), (2,4) and (3,9), which are not on a straight line.
