Feb. 2021 UPDATE - This product is compatible with Google Slides™ and can be shared with your students. The resource can also be added to Google Classroom™. The digital version of the product allows students to type their answers for each question directly into the resource. Further information is included in the product.
Math Mania provides mathematical practice and challenge for elementary students. This product is intended to enrich and extend students’ mathematical thinking skills and problem solving fluency. The product can be used as a daily class warm-up, extension for early finishers, supplemental practice, end-of-year or summertime skills review, homework enrichment, or to provide problems for classroom activities. Four levels of increasing challenge are available in this series: circle, triangle, square, star. Each level includes a variety of problems that focus on foundational skills, basic operations, problem solving, and critical and higher-level thinking skills. Examples of specific concepts covered are listed on the next page. They include mathematical skills primarily covered in a year-long second and third grade mathematics curriculum. The product is also beneficial as a challenge activity for first grade or intervention practice for fourth grade. Problems can be used as-is on the no-prep printables, or they can serve as a resource for various mathematics activities and games. An answer key is provided for each level of challenge.
