Description

This Math Matcher puzzle is a great way to review multiplying with exponents with your students! This puzzle encourages students to work together and help one another, but still provides enough flexibility that each student can work at his or her own pace and skill level.


Each group of students receives a set of 25 Math Matcher cards. Their task is to complete all of the problems on each side of the cards, and match them to the corresponding solution on another card. When the puzzle is complete, all of the cards together will form a square.

Problems in this set ask students to simplify exponent expressions using the laws of exponents (multiplication).

I like that it was self checking and students enjoyed putting the puzzle together. I also like that there were letters in the middle of each square which made it easy for me to monitor their progress.
