Description

UPDATED 5/1/2020: Now includes link to Google Slides for digital use.

I completely swoon over anchor charts I see teachers have in their classroom. It's like teacher artwork - haha, but they just aren't practical in my learning support classroom. Sure, I leave up charts and posters that benefit, in some way or another, all students who come to my learning support classroom, but sometimes I need for each of my students to have what anchor charts offer.

At the beginning of this school year, I started making "mini charts" for my students to have at their seat. THEN, I decided to use left over book bin labels I purchased from the Target Dollar Spot, for the mini charts to slide into. This was life changing in my classroom. They are like individualized anchor charts for my students. They use the mini chart that they need and are not distracted by other charts/posters hanging around my classroom, that don't pertain to what they are learning or need further practice with.

These mini charts aren't just for use in a book bin label on a desk. I have had one of my students who attends an inclusion math class, but uses a mini chart in my room for ELA, ask if he could have a label for inside his binder. He keeps his mini chart where he can see it when he opens up his binder, but mini enough that others can't see what he has. These mini charts are also the perfect size to staple, or to hole punch and put on a ring. Both would be easy ways to take them to and from home, as well as to and from different centers in the classroom.

There are 68 math mini charts in this second set. Six mini charts of each topic, per page. These would best be used for grades 4-6, students whose ability levels are 4-6, or even those students in grade 7+ but need a little extra help.

The Mini Charts include:

- Finding the Average

- Exponents

- Order of Operations

- Points, Lines, and Rays

- Identifying Angles

- Parallel and Perpendicular Lines

- Plane Figures

- Polygons

- Types of Triangles

- Comparing Fractions

I have used minimal color ink, to try and keep them printer friendly. These can always be printed in a grayscale option. The black and white mini charts look great on colored paper.
