This is an authentic money extension that can help students apply what they have learned about money, while also apply critical problem solving strategies. This project includes a description of the problem, a shopping list, and additional practice as students take a trip to the bank! I have also made a list of different writing extensions that could be use with this project.

You can use this activity in a variety of different ways. You could use it as review for the full class , as a math center, as an extension activity for students who have already mastered this concept, etc...
