Description

Do your students love to move? Do they want aesthetically appealing slides? Do your students need support in developing their basic number sense? Are you looking to INCREASE student engagement?

These NO PREP self-checking digital flashcards will motivate your students to practice their basic multiplication facts

Each multiplication table is included in the bundle. Each table uses a different physical movement to keep students engaged! Each slide has a retro / Y2K theme which will further engage the mathematician!

As a classroom teacher, I have successfully used this resource with my 4th, 5th and 6th grade students. EXPOSURE and REPETITION with fact fluency is essential! As a current 6th grade teacher, my students have truly benefited from structured math fact fluency movement breaks. Yes, STILL in 6th grade! Our mathematicians need a strong foundation!

Without a basic number sense of basic multiplication facts students will struggle to comprehend more complex topics such as: multi-digit multiplication, division, multiplying fractions, dividing fractions and the list goes ON.

This is an essential prerequisite skill that all mathematicians need to master. Whether you teach elementary or middle school, this resource has supported students of all ages.

The following resources are included:

  • Self-Checking: answers are highlighted after each question to support both students and educators.
  • NO prep required! Simply download and project!
  • 600+ math movement slides practicing ALL multiplication tables 1-12 (in isolation and mixed).
  • Aesthetically appealing slides to engage even the least excited mathematicians!
  • Students will practice their comprehension while MOVING.

Bundle Includes:

Options included: Google Slides™ and PDF.

Ways to utilize the Google Slides™ resource:

  • Use a projector to use these slides as a whole group and/or small group MOVEMENT BRAIN BREAK.
  • Post Google Slides on Google Classroom for students to access for:

-Independent and/or partner math tech station during math small group and/or math workshop

-Fast finisher, remediation, intervention and/or enrichment activity (depending on grade level and/or students' individual needs)

-Student-directed Snow Day (asynchronous) and/or Virtual Learning Brain Breaks (synchronous)!

-Opportunity for students to practice their math at home with their family!

-Fact fluency homework practice

Ways to utilize the PDF resource:

  • Print slides for students to use as physical flashcards.
  • Use physical flashcards for homework practice, independent and/or partner hands-on math stations or a fast finisher game!
  • Pull out or push in Special Education Instruction
  • Make a MATH-CENTERED MOVEMENT STATION or EXTRA ENERGY SPACE:

-Sometimes students need an opportunity to MOVE instead of a calm and/or relaxation space! However, they often need structure to effectively self-regulate.

-Create double-sided flashcards OR use the slides as posters.

-Allow students to USE their energy in a productive, math-focused manner.

-This can serve as a helpful regulation tool for students with 504s, IEPs or anyone who just needs to move in a structured way.

Determine the unknown whole number in a multiplication or division equation relating three whole numbers. For example, determine the unknown number that makes the equation true in each of the equations 8 × ? = 48, 5 = __ ÷ 3, 6 × 6 = ?.
Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.
