These notes can be used in an interactive math notebook. The file includes a blank copy for students and a color coded answer key. Notes are 7.5 x 4.75 in size, two per page.

These notes address 2016 Virginia Math SOL 5.4. Students will learn how to interpret a remainder by classifying problems into four tyoes. Includes a TEI example, practical problem, and extension or error analysis activity. Also included is a sort for students to classify remainder by type.
