Description

Great review game for beginning of the year or end of the year! This Math Olympics Game is created to cover 3-4 lessons but can be edited to your own curriculum and topics! Feel free to steal my concept and plan and edit to your own students and needs!

NOTE: Actual math worksheets are not included since this can be personalized to your own curriculum.

The way I used it:

- As an end of the year activity over 4 days

- Students split into groups and chose a country.

- Each day I held a 5-10 minute review lesson on the topic (optional)

- Math Challenge: Then, students had 2-3 timed minutes to complete a worksheet on their own. Correct answers were added up within each team. Each team's total points are calculated.

- Fun/Game Challenge: Then, students played a game against other teams such as Uno, Jenga, Silent Ball or any other classroom games you have. The winning team earned 5-10 points.

- Totals are added up each day from each teams Math Challenge and Game Challenge.

- The final team is announced on the last day.
