"I get so giddy when my students actually USE the math tools/resources that I have on my walls! One of my English language learners said to me the other day, “Mrs. Morie! I knew I had to subtract in my word problem because I looked on the operations signs and saw the word “remain” on the subtraction poster!” That LITERALLY made my whole Friday and I may have made an overly dramatic deal about him using that tool to help him! But you better believe that the rest of my ELLs and even my English speaking students started to use the operation posters for the “remainder” of their word problems!"

I printed these large posters and taped them up on my wall for my students to use as a math resource when solving single and multi-step word problems!
