This unit is so fun! I've made it colourful and full of differentated activities for your students to gain a deep understaning of patterns and relations. Great for grades 3-5. Includes I Can statements.

This unit contains games, lessons, printables for math journals, centers (including printable "what's the missing number" cards and 12 ways to use them, two projects (including a final project), hands on activities, study notes

I teach patterns mid-year when my students have reviewed last years concepts and can see them more clearly, but this unit can be used any time and spans the many different outcomes across the curriculum. It's wonderful for students to see patterns in many different forms, not just numbers.

Keywords: math, patterns and relations, games, centers, study notes, test, partner work, group work, collaboration, differentiation, whole class

This is a great resource with many creative and critical thinking hands on ideas. I wish there would have been some info in the description about the amount of prep work some of the lessons required with laminating and getting resources ready. Other than that, very comprehensive!
