This is a bundle product of my progress monitoring probes for rounding, place value, time and money.
These products were designed for my third grade classroom. I use these products for RTI in my classroom. These product correlates with the PA common core standards:
CC.2.1.3.B.1: Apply place value understanding and properties of operations to perform multi-digit arithmetic.
- Probes include rounding two and three digit whole numbers to the nearest ten or hundred.
CC.2.4.3.A.1: Solve problems involving measurement and estimation of intervals of time, money, liquid volumes, masses, and lengths of objects.
-Probes include: telling time to the minute, showing time, calculating elapsed time to the minute.
CC.2.4.3.A.3: Solve problems and make change involving money using a combinations of coins and bills
- Probes include:counting money up to $5, comparing total value of coins and bills,making change up to $5 with no more than $2 change, and rounding amounts of money to the nearest dollar.
CC.2.4.3.A.6: Solve problems involving perimeters of polygons and distinguish between linear and area measures.
-Probes include finding perimeter of shaded shapes, find the perimeter with numbers given, and finding the missing length of sides.
This product has 10 different forms that each contain 10 problems for each concept of Rounding, Time, Money and Perimeter. This pack also includes a graph in which my students keep track of their progress on these quick assessments. The graph allows the students to see their progress and allows me to see if the student is mastering the skill over time. These probes also allow me to group my students into core, strategic and intensive groups based on their ability to complete these probes.
