Description

In this exciting math project, students will magnify an object of their choice. Using their multiplication and measurement skills, students take an everyday object and create a (nearly) exact copy that is at least three times larger than the original. Students will have to recreate packaging, art, labeling, colors, and anything else to make their magnified object.

When all the projects are finished, the class shows off their work in a magnified museum! This lesson includes instructions, brainstorming pages, rubric, an editable directions pack, as well as a non-editable one, and photos of past examples. Students love it!

This project encompasses many different skills and may be used for a variety of grade levels but 3-5 is recommended.
