• Project onto the TV/screen with students sitting on the floor in front of the board. Discuss the question. Children may benefit from having a note pad or mini whiteboard to record their answers. Work through the answer together.

PDF Document - B&W version of the powerpoint presentation

• entry tasks
• early finishers
• exit tasks
• Print, copy and cut between each set. Store in a box or folder. Use when required. Children stick a copy of the question in their workbooks and write the answer/s below. Children could spend quite a bit of time working through open-ended tasks.
