Mathematicians are asked on a daily basis to add to their math skills and to stay on task. I found that at times our math lessons needed a more authentic measure of how the student was doing, and feeling about themself as a mathematician.
This has been a successful addition to our exit slip routine in math to gauge not only math success but behaviors that all us to be successful too.
