Description
A quick and easy way to review computation, geometry, probability, number sense, and measurement.
I've used this in a variety of ways: with individuals or teams of students at the start of our math class or as a challenge for my capable students. You might use it for distance learning. Have students complete the worksheet as a simple way to review many areas of math. The activity could be completed with a sheet of lined paper.
Present a rectangle made from colorful squares. Students record the computation equations, geometry terms, probability for the colors in the rectangle, the numbers that represent each color, and the perimeter and area of the rectangle.
A short video gives you a preview of the process.
Ask for a few answers to simplify for younger students. Ask for all the answers for older or more capable students.
Here's what's included:
- 11 worksheets, choose black line or color images
- answer keys
- a short video that explains how to fill in the answers on a worksheet
- the PowerPoint™ that was used to create the video so you can change it for your students
