This printable is designed as a resource for students to use when solving real world word problems in mathematics. Each page includes a separate step of the problem solving process followed by questions to prompt problem solving success. These questions are used as a guide for students in carrying out the steps of problem solving through demonstrating understanding of the problem, devising and carrying out a plan for solving the problem, and checking over their work.

These could be displayed on the classroom wall, given individually to students, or laminated and placed in the center baskets of desks for students to use when they need them for problem solving.
