This Math Talk Presentation is designed to promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This math talk is a great way to start your lesson to get your learners thinking deeply about math. This interactive presentation includes a variety of activities centered around essential math concepts, such as:

  • Which Doesn’t Belong? – A fun and challenging activity that encourages students to analyze groups of objects or numbers and determine which one doesn't fit, fostering pattern recognition and logical reasoning. The important part is explaining and justifying their answer.
  • Find the Mistake – Students will sharpen their attention to detail by identifying and correcting errors in math problems, enhancing their understanding of computation and mathematical operations.
  • Computation – Strengthen basic arithmetic skills, ensuring students build confidence in addition and subtraction. Plus, building teen numbers

  • Greater Than and Less Than – Engaging activities that help students grasp the concept of comparing numbers, reinforcing their understanding of number values and relational symbols.
  • Shapes – Fun activities that focus on geometric shapes, helping students identify, classify, and understand the properties of shapes
