Gr 3 End of Year Math Snapshot – All Core Standards Quick Assessment - Editable **NOW FULLY EDITABLE** This is a quick assessment of all common core math standards for third grade. There is at least one question for every standard.
My Back to School Assessment includes this assessment as well, so if you bought that one, you don't need this one.
How can I use this product?
I like to give this test at the beginning and the same test at the end and let my students see how they have improved. It also is great to show parents during conferences. Tracking sheets included.
What is included?
ZIP - Both a PDF file and a matching editable DOC (MS Word) file.
Assessment 1 – A brief set of questions based on all the common core standards for third grade. Let me emphasize that there is just one or two questions for each standard. You can give this to your third graders as a pre/post assessment, or when you get a new student mid-way through the year.
There are two parts:
1 – This is a written portion that you can distribute to your whole class.
2 – This is an oral part, where you would ask questions to assess their mental and fluency skills as well as ask them to explain problems they did in part 1.
There is a complete answer key.
1-2: Cover page and copyright info
3-9: All the 3rd grade math standards
10: Oral portion
11-17: Answer Key
18-19: Tracking sheets for all parts
Please note: The DOC file might not format that same as the PDF when you open it on your computer. There are a lot of variables that might throw the formatting off, like fonts, mac/pc, word versions etc.
