Bring the 8 Standards for Mathematical Practice (SMP) to life with this engaging and student-friendly Math Thinker Journal! This resource gives students a hands-on, minds-on way to reflect on their mathematical thinking while engaging with familiar games, tools, and learning routines—each aligned to one of the 8 practices.

Designed to be used throughout the school year, this journal includes eight high-interest activities, each matched to a specific math practice. From playing Kanoodle and Sudoku to tracking IXL progress or math facts, students build awareness of the habits of mathematicians in action.
