Description

This Math Tic Tac Toe packet of Multiplying Polynomials comes with 4 tiered worksheets with answer key included for all. Students will practice multiplying monomials by binomials, monomials by trinomials, binomials by binomials and binomials by trinomials.

This assignment packet can be used as an individual student packet, with a partner in game mode, as differentiated assignments for your leveled learners or as daily whole-class practice.

Using as an Individual Packet:

Option 1:

Give each student all 4 worksheets and have them complete 3 boxes in a row (vertical, diagonal or horizontal) on each page. They will complete a total of 12 questions. Benefit: Promotes student choice in questions they will complete!

Option 2:

Give each student all 4 worksheets and have them complete all questions for practice, then have them choose their most confident questions that are 3 boxes in a row (vertical, diagonal or horizontal) that will be scored by the teacher or partner. Benefits: All questions will be practiced! Less grading for the teacher!

Using as partner work/game activity:

Have students play a round of tic tac toe and wherever their x’s or o’s land those will be the questions they complete. Students could do this one time at the beginning before they start their work or they can do a new round for each page in the packet! Benefits: Entices students to complete their work with a little game play involved!

Using as Differentiated Assignments:

Since there are 4 assignments, you can assign each to a particular learning group in your class. Try the monomials for struggling students. You can also mix and match the pages and give more than one page for different groups. Benefits: Focused questions for different groups!

How to use this packet:

•Homework Packet

•Do Now Packet

•Review Packet

•Classwork Assignment

•Partner work/game activity

•Individual Packet

•Differentiate among leveled learners
