Description

Help your students succeed in math by giving them a math resource ring. This product includes 72 mini reference sheets you can put on a ring so your students can easily refer back to formulas, charts, sample problems and math vocabulary that will help get them started solving whatever math problem they have in front of them.

Provide your students with exactly the resources they need. This product includes reference sheets that would be appropriate for students in 2nd - 5th grade.

Possible Uses:

  • Make 5-6 rings and have them at your small group table for students to use during small group instruction
  • Give every student a resource ring and as you introduce a skill they can add the mini reference sheet to their ring
  • Send home a math resource ring with every student so parents can support students with math
  • Have students glue a pocket in their math journal and students can add math reference sheets to their journal to reference during independent practice

Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Solve problems involving addition and subtraction of fractions by using information presented in line plots. For example, from a line plot find and interpret the difference in length between the longest and shortest specimens in an insect collection.
