Description
In the Montessori approach, Math Word Problems help children transition from the concrete math materials to abstract mathematical thinking. This method fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills by engaging students in decoding narratives, identifying relevant information, and applying the appropriate mathematical tools.
Includes 144 word problems with both static and dynamic questions:
- 36 addition problems and answer cards
- 36 multiplication problems and answer cards
- 36 subtraction problems and answer cards
- 36 division problems and answer cards
Print the questions only, or print and fold the cards so the answers are on the back.
Cards are approx. 3"x 3¾" and color-coded according to the wooden Montessori math materials.
This set is also available without color-coding.
