Description
CUBES is by far the best strategy I have used to help my students learn to solve word problems. I introduce it right at the beginning of the year and it quickly becomes second nature to them! I constantly reinforce the strategy when modeling word problems and refer frequently to my CUBES Poster, which I blow up and hang on the wall all year long.
