Description
These problem sets are a good way to assess whether students are using math reasoning skills to determine which operation to use to solve a problem. These word problem sets can be used for progress monitoring student iep math goals, quick classroom assessments, or homework practice. This product was initially designed for use in upper grade level Resource Room, however it may also be used in a lower grade general education classroom. There are 2 problem sets of math problems. Each set contains10 pages with 5 problems on each page. Each page has at least one problem of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Set A contains only single digit addition, subtraction and common factors in multiplication and division. Set B contains multi-digit problems. Pages 1B, 2B, and 3B do not use regrouping. Pages 4B-9B use regrouping and page 10B uses regrouping with zero. Wording for Set A and Set B problems are similar except for the numbers used. In this way it can be offered as differentiated learning practice. An answer key for both problem sets is included.
