Just PRINT! Great for morning work, math center, independent practice, group teaching, homeschool, homework, or intervention.

Counting is probably the most important skill a child will learn during their preschool years. Preschool is the ideal time to start developing basic early math skills such as counting, number recognition, sorting, more or less concepts, etc. Equally important, this is the ideal time to begin to develop a love for mathematics, and hope that this love will continue beyond their preschool years.

These themed math worksheets are great to familiarize students with the seasons while giving them the opportunity to learn math skills. This packet contains 25 worksheets to help you save time when planning your daily center or morning work. Your little ones will learn key mathematical concepts such as:

  • Same/Different
  • More/Less
  • Larger/Smaller
  • Taller/Shorter
  • Ordering by size
  • Counting 1-10
  • Patterning (AB)
  • Sequencing
  • Categorizing

Total: 25 activities.

So how can parents make their children excited about math? One way is to strengthen these basic concepts through preschool math worksheets. By the end of pre-k, they should be able to:

  • understand the 1:1 correspondence between numbers and objects,
  • count to 10 reliably,
  • and know that the last number they counted tells them how many objects they are counting.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
