A GREAT IDEA FOR ENDING A MATH UNIT OR CONSOLIDATION OF MATH STRANDS!

Students will be invited to write about their choice of food using mathematical language. Students will explore how their food ties in with a choice of three out of the following areas: Number Sense, Geometry, Measurement, Data Management/Probability and Patterning/Algebra.

A food groups planning template, sample, rubric and specialty writing paper is included with this unit. As well, a book cover is included should you wish to turn these student generated pieces into a class book.
