Students will use their knowledge of creating algebraic expressions and simplifying these expressions to crack mathemagic examples as well as create their own.
For example,
Pick any number, add 5, multiply by 3, subtract 7, subtract your original number, divide by 2, subtract 4....did you end up with your original number?!?
Students will use algebra to figure out why this works!
