Description
Use these exit slips to encourage students to view themselves as mathematicians and teach about the Mathematical Practices. This is a great tool for reflection, metacognition, and self-assessment.
Have students select or write in a practice they engaged in and then describe how that practice helped them learn. To encourage thoughtful responses, ask students to write in complete sentences, restate the question and practice as a statement, provide a specific example, and explain how it helped them learn better.

I used this to help me in a master's class. I gave this to my students; it was a great way to get information and easy for them to understand.
This was a great resource to help my kids have a better understand and get lots of practice in before MAP testing.
I love this resource! I love using exit slips on a regular basis, but I especially love that these incorporate connections to the SMP's. These helped me get my students thinking like mathematicians!
Thanks
Thank you!
These will be very helpful as we focus strongly on the math practices next year. Thank you :)
Awesome!
