Mathemon - Addition Fact Fluency Card Game (Like Pokemon)
Share

Description

Here is my latest creation! In this card game I have fused addition facts and subtraction/addition of two and three digit numbers with the elements of a "Pokemon" or "Yugioh" type monster battling game. As a teacher and a card game player myself, I knew children would be drawn into the fun of playing monsters and trying to defeat your opponents with them. If this is unfamiliar territory to you, please do not dismiss this without giving it a try in your classroom or home.
I have included detailed instructions in this download. If you have any questions about how the game works, or if you do not understand all of the instructions, please feel free to ask any questions. I will try my best to help you implement the game as smoothly as possible.
As I always say with my products, I hope to hear from those who have used my games/items. I appreciate any feedback, whether positive or negative. Creating these educational card games has become a hobby of mine and I am growing more and more passionate about creating worthwhile products.

My students absolutely love this game and ask to play it everyday! I use it with them at the end of first grade, and provide a hundreds chart for students who need some addition support! The cards are funny and engaging and the students love reading their names! This is a great way to get your students to practice addition facts! I highly reccommend!
