This a set a pages for notes that can be put into a binder, folder, or reduced in size to fit into a composition notebook. These are cloze style notes, that have fill in the blank definitions and information for the concept presented. The left side is for the information, while the right side has practice that can be utilized as whole group, small group, or individually. These are great for mini lessons leading into centers or other activities.

This set of pages introduces what mean absolute deviation is. The right side page has practice to complete - students can utilize the basic functions of the calculator or do the calculations manually.

There is also a calculator resource for utilizing the list feature in the TI-84 Plus calculator to find the Mean Absolute Deviation of a set of data. This resource also has a second page for practicing the calculator skills. There are no additional data sets to practice this skill with. This does include a color-coded version where the keys match the directions making this a great resource for those who need reference materials to remember multi-step directions!

You can even print it on 8.5 x 14 paper to make it a classroom resource poster!
