Description

This free measure and draw math activity helps kids practice using a ruler and measuring in centimeters! Perfect for hands-on learning, fine motor skills, and real-world math applications. Great for math centers, STEM activities, and elementary students. Download, print, and start measuring

This file includes:

2 pages with active task for a learning break during a math session.

ActiveLearning focuses on movement for the students during the day and during a session. 15 - 20 minutes of activity is important for development, engagement and motivation, as well as the students health.

A small movement guide for this task:

  • Hang the sheet in the hallway or another suitable place where the students can run back and forth. I usually hang the sheet a bit down the hallway or up the stairs.
  • The students run and read what it says, then return to their books and draw what they read the correct measurements.
  • They are allowed to run multiple times if they don’t remember everything on each number.
