Bring measurement to life with this fun and engaging Measurement Monster PBL math activity! In this project-based learning (PBL) resource, students become landscapers hired to design a brand-new yard for a friendly monster using only 3 rulers as their measurement tools. Students must accurately create a 12-inch pond, 2-foot garden, and 1-yard path, making this the perfect hands-on activity for practicing inches, feet, and yards.

This elementary math resource is ideal for teaching customary measurement, real-world problem solving, collaboration, and critical thinking in grades 2–4. Perfect for math centers, small groups, enrichment, or whole-class PBL lessons.
