This is a fun activity that students can use to practice measuring to the nearest inch or nearest centimeter. Everything you need it provided in this printable document. You may choose to mount their creations onto construction paper. Students will start by choosing a body, eyes, mouth, legs, and feet. Have students color the parts that they are choosing before cutting out. Once pieces are cut out have them assemble their monsters and glue them together. Then have students measure their parts following and answering the questions on the My Measurement Monster page. I have my student’s measure to the nearest inch or nearest centimeter.
