Inch, 1/2 Inch, & Centimeter Task Cards With Corresponding PowerPoint
Use these 32 task cards to help students practice measuring with inches and centimeters. Students will use the ruler to measure the pictures to the nearest inch, 1/2 inch, and centimeter. Not all measurements start at zero, so students will have to use more advanced measuring skills to find their answers. Some of the task cards also require students to use addition and subtraction.
A student answer sheet and answer key is included, so that students can check their work. Use the corresponding PowerPoint to review task cards with your students. These task cards will work for stations, partner work, independent practice, early finishers, or with the whole class playing a game such as Scoot.
These cards will print well in gray scale, but will look best if printed in color. I would suggest laminating them so you can use them for many years.

Excellent resource!
My students loved walking around the room and using task cards. It went great with the lesson of not starting at 0 to measure.
