Description
This picture sort is a great activity when students are finished with their work early, to do on the board as a class, or copy and paste the pictures into a Smartboard activity. This works great for remediation or for introducing the topic. It also works well for students who may not test well. Have them do the activity in front of you and use the results as a test grade. This also works great for a math center activity.
Simply, cut out the pictures, glue the questions on the back, and laminate the cards. You can also print out a copy for each student and have them cut them out and glue them under the correct column. Have your students do this as a group project and glue it to a poster. Hang the posters in the hallway for parents to see.
This activity includes 25 picture cards, 5 measurement cards (ruler, scale, clock, thermometer, calendar), 5 label cards, 25 questions for students, directions, and answers.
